It’s hard to believe that another Michigan winter is nearly upon us. Construction season is not even over and Mother Nature is turning her cool head. Shortly, we will long for the warm humid breezes of summertime in West Michigan once again. The smell of a well seasoned log on the fire will replace the essence of Coppertone and beach barbeques. Nobody should worry though, there is plenty of time to enjoy all that Michigan has to offer prior to the “S” word starting to pile up.

NEED A WEEKEND AWAY? PLAN A FALL COLOR TOUR.

Michiganders are treated to breathtaking beauty throughout the four seasons. We live in a nature rich environment providing us outlets for wide variety recreational activities. One of my favorite pastimes is taking the fall color tour.
If you're like me, I usually combine the annual fall trip with a stop at the local pumpkin patch while downing a gallon of fresh cider and cinnamon doughnuts. However, I will mix it up this year by heading up to US 131 & M 119 in Petoskey, Michigan for a drive in The Tunnel of Trees. This stretch of Michigan road is a must see and should be on everyone's “must” drive list. One only has to do a simple Google® search to find out this is a hot spot for memorable fall color action.
